La Galera Cigars represents the signature brand of Tabacalera Palma, a family-owned tobacco company whose roots date back to 1925 and whose cigar manufacturing tradition began in 1936. Today, the company is led by third-generation tobacco expert José 'Jochy' Blanco, whose decades of experience have earned international recognition throughout the premium cigar industry.
Produced at the modern Tabacalera Palma factory in Tamboril, just outside Santiago de los Caballeros, every La Galera cigar is handcrafted by experienced torcedores using carefully selected tobaccos cultivated in the Dominican Republic's renowned Cibao Valley. The brand's name, 'La Galera,' pays tribute to the cigar rolling room where skilled artisans transform aged tobacco into premium handmade cigars.
