1. About Boca2Boca Boca2Boca (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is an online platform that connects travelers and companies with independent tour operators, guides, and event professionals in the Dominican Republic. We do not organize, operate, or control the tours, tastings, or activities listed on our website. Each experience is provided directly by an independent third-party provider (“Service Provider”) who is fully responsible for delivering the service. By using our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Nature of Our Service Our website helps users discover tours, tastings, and experiences, request information or availability, and contact or book directly with local providers. Boca2Boca acts solely as an intermediary between you and the Service Provider. We do not own, operate, or manage any factory, lounge, restaurant, or transportation company.
3. Booking & Payments Depending on the listing, some bookings are made directly with the provider, who will contact you to confirm details and collect payment. Some listings may allow deposit or payment via Boca2Boca, in which case we collect payment on behalf of the provider. When you pay through Boca2Boca, the payment is transferred to the relevant provider according to their agreement. You will receive a confirmation email showing the provider’s name, contact, and cancellation terms. Boca2Boca is not a travel agency or tour operator under Dominican Republic Law No. 541; we act only as a digital intermediary platform.
4. Provider Responsibility Each provider is responsible for descriptions, images, and prices of their services; obtaining all local licenses and insurance required; safety, quality, and delivery of the service; and managing their own cancellations, refunds, and complaints. Boca2Boca does not guarantee the accuracy of any provider’s information and is not liable for errors, omissions, or service performance.
5. User Responsibility By using our website, you agree to provide accurate contact and payment information; read and understand each provider’s policies before booking; and comply with any health, age, or conduct rules required by the provider. You acknowledge that participation in any experience involves inherent risks, including travel, transportation, and personal injury, for which Boca2Boca bears no responsibility.
6. Cancellations & Refunds Cancellation terms depend on the individual provider’s policy. Each listing clearly indicates whether it is refundable and under what conditions. If you booked directly through Boca2Boca, refer to our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
7. Liability Disclaimer Boca2Boca does not own or operate any tour or facility. We are not liable for injury, loss, damage, or delay arising from the acts or omissions of any provider or third party. Our website and services are provided 'as is,' without warranties of completeness or fitness for purpose. Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount of service fees you paid to Boca2Boca (excluding the provider’s price).
8. Privacy & Data We collect and process personal data to connect users with providers. Your information may be shared with the relevant provider solely for communication and booking purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
9. Complaints If you have an issue with a provider, please contact them directly. If the problem relates to the use of our website or communication process, contact us at support@boca2boca.com. We will attempt to mediate but cannot guarantee specific outcomes.
10. Intellectual Property All website content (text, images, logos, and code) is owned or licensed by Boca2Boca. You may not copy, reproduce, or use content without written permission.
11. Applicable Law These Terms are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Santiago de los Caballeros.
