We visited Don Anibal's workshop on a beautiful afternoon in Santiago, and it was absolutely magical. The entire experience felt personal and genuine - not like a typical tourist factory tour. Don Anibal himself walked us through every step of the cigar-making process, from tobacco leaf selection to the final rolling and aging. What impressed us most was how he explained the family history and passion behind every cigar. We learned so much about Dominican tobacco varieties and the craftsmanship that goes into each stick. The complimentary Dominican coffee during our tasting was perfect, and the cigars we smoked at the end were exceptional. The workshop's intimate setting - just a small group of us - made it feel exclusive and special. We'll definitely come back when we visit Santiago again!

Visitamos el taller de Don Anibal Trujillo con la esperanza de tener una experiencia auténtica, y no fuimos decepcionados. Este lugar es completamente diferente a las grandes fábricas turísticas. Es una verdadera manufactura familiar donde cada puro se elabora con amor y dedicación. Don Anibal nos mostró personalmente todo el proceso - desde la selección cuidadosa de las hojas de tabaco hasta los secretos de un buen rolado. Nos compartió historias fascinantes sobre su familia y su dedicación a la excelencia. El café dominicano que nos sirvieron fue delicioso, y los puros que probamos al final fueron simplemente excepcionales. Fuimos solo 4 personas en la visita, lo que hizo la experiencia muy personal y exclusiva. Si planean visitar Santiago y buscan algo auténtico y memorable, este taller es definitivamente imprescindible. Volveremos seguro.

I'm a lifelong cigar smoker and I've visited dozens of factories across Cuba, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic. Don Anibal's workshop stands out because of its dedication to quality over quantity. You can see it in every detail - the careful tobacco selection, the meticulous rolling techniques, and the willingness to share knowledge. The tour lasted about 90 minutes and felt unhurried. Don Anibal answered every question patiently and shared stories about his family's 40+ years in the business. We also got to try our hand at rolling (though clearly the experts make it look easier than it is!) and took home our creations as souvenirs. If you're looking for an authentic, intimate factory experience rather than a mass-market tour, this is absolutely the place. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Santiago.
