Stories from cigar lovers who have toured with Boca2Boca.

“unforgettable experience”
The Coffee Brothers Cigar Club had an unforgettable experience at the La Flor Dominicana Factory. From the moment we arrived, our incredible host, Tony Gomez, welcomed us with open arms, making us feel like part of the family. The stories he shared about his father's legacy and the passion behind the business added a personal touch that truly enriched our experience.
After an engaging hour with Tony, we dived into the heart of the operation – the warehouse! There, Tony took us behind the scenes, breaking down each step of the cigar-making process and showcasing how they achieve exceptional quality in every single cigar.
As cigar enthusiast, we were absolutely captivated by every detail and found ourselves completely immersed in the artistry of LFD. Our time in the Dominican Republic was amazing, but this visit truly took the cake! LFD has won us over for life, and we can't wait to return!
“Pure craftsmanship.”
Watching the rollers work with such focus and artistry was hypnotic. You can feel the pride in every part of the factory. The guide explained everything clearly, and we even got to meet some of the artisans. LFD sets the bar high for what a premium cigar truly means.
“For lovers of cigars and culture.”
This tour is the perfect blend of culture, craftsmanship, and storytelling. You don’t just see cigars being made — you understand the heart behind them. The small group format made it easy to ask questions, and every part of the experience felt premium and genuine.
“Peaceful and powerful.”
I didn’t expect a cigar factory tour to feel emotional, but this one did. Seeing how generations of craftsmanship come together in one place gave me chills. The team’s passion was inspiring, and the setting itself was beautiful. Highly recommend it — even if you’re not a cigar smoker.
“Romantic and fascinating.”
My partner and I took this tour as a date idea, and it was way more romantic than we imagined. The blend of history, smell of aged tobacco, and calm energy made it feel almost cinematic. You leave understanding why LFD is one of the best in the world.
“More personal than I expected.”
Our small group made the whole experience relaxed and personal. The guide took time to answer questions, share the family’s story, and make sure everyone understood the process. It felt like stepping into history — passionate people doing what they love.
“The artistry blew me away.”
I didn’t realize how much skill goes into rolling cigars until this tour. Watching the team work by hand with such speed and precision was mesmerizing. The warehouse itself smells incredible, and the tasting at the end was the perfect finale. Learned a ton and loved every minute.
“Better than expected!”
I thought this might be too ‘touristy,’ but it felt genuinely authentic. You get to see real artisans at work, not a show for visitors. The smell of tobacco, the rhythm of the rollers, and Tony’s stories made it all unforgettable. Easily one of the highlights of our stay in Santiago.
“A must-do for cigar lovers.”
As a long-time cigar enthusiast, visiting LFD was like stepping into a dream. The entire process — from leaf selection to rolling — was explained beautifully. The small group made it personal, and the tasting afterward sealed the deal. Absolutely worth it.
“Felt like a VIP experience.”
From the moment we arrived, we were treated like special guests. Tony Gomez was incredibly welcoming and shared stories that made the brand’s legacy come alive. Walking through the aging rooms and watching torcedores roll cigars with such precision felt exclusive and unforgettable.
“Unexpected highlight of our trip!”
We booked the La Flor Dominicana factory tour last minute, and it turned out to be one of the best parts of our trip. The atmosphere was calm yet full of energy, and seeing every step of cigar making up close was fascinating. Our guide made everything so personal — we left with a whole new appreciation for Dominican craftsmanship.
